Hello, My name is Grant Garrido and I am looking for any family that may still reside in Aldeire. My Grand fathers name was Manuel Garrido Barmos and was married to Anonia Peral also from Aldeire. I have more history in bastismal documents from the church of Santa Matia of the annunciation.

Hello Manuel, It has been a long time sence our first message exchange. I have found additional documents with hand writing that is easier to read. It is clear that my Grandfathers name was Manuel Ramos Garrido and I also find the Fransico Garrido in these papers.
So it would seem that we are in fact related!

Hola Grant y Manuel! I just found this site while researching my family heritage. I'm perplexed as to why I can't find anything on any of my grandparents or great grandparents. I just posted a new message. I'd love any wisdom you have on how to find actual records. I've been working with the LDS Family Search tool, and I've searched for ANY/ALL records, but come up with nothing. Very strange.
